Nebo United's first girls team in three years played their first game on April 2nd in West Valley and made us proud. If they were nervous about their first game on the club level, they certainly didn't show it. Don't be decieved into thinking that these awesome ladies are just a group of pretty faces. Their opponents had all they could handle in terms of of clean aggressive, physical soccer. Though the score ended in a 0-0 tie, they battled up and down the entire field for 90 minutes nearly scoring on several occasions and making Nebo fans breath a sigh of releif on the defensive end as well. With only one substitution, the girls ran their hearts out. Coach Ramos pretty well lost his voice in the first half of the game.
Hopefully this years girls team will be the first of many to come for Nebo United.
