Sam Metz - SHHS Student Body President and Nebo United Player


Sam participated in the Onion Days 3v3 Tournament

Sam Metz, a senior at Salem Hills High School Plays midfield wing for Nebo United. Sam has been involved with Nebo United since its conception 3 years ago. He has played for great coaches and states he has learned alot to help him with the season play in school. Van Rogers and Steve Pemberton are his coaches and he states they expect big things from the U18 Nebo United Teams. Sam started soccer in the Payson City Rec and when the opportunity came to improve his technique and become a better player he joined Nebo United and has found what he expected and more. Home games here in Payson for Nebo United will be at the Spanish Fork Complex on Oct 10th, at 8:30, Oct 17 at 10:30 and finally Oct 24th at 10:30. Come and see what Nebo United has to offer.
Sam played for Payson High his sophmore year, and last year played for Salem Hills High School. Salem Hills expects big things from their year soccer teams this year, some of which have played for Nebo United.
Sam is the Salem Hills Student Body President. He also is on the Swim Team for Salem Hills along with being a manager for the Salem Hills
Girls Soccer Team. You could say he lives for soccer and to swim.
