U18 Blue played their first game on Sept. 2. at Menlow Park. It was a hectic trip, first stop and go traffic on I-15 and then finding the address only to discover that there was no soccer field to be found. After discussion with some locals, we were able to make it to the game before the other team and refs gave up on us.The warm up was rushed and the game didn't go as we had hoped. We had some great saves by keeper, Ben Jones, and some good play from the team, but we fell short.
U-18 Blue had a tough time in Magna (Sept.22) in a very physical game in deep grass. We were not allowed a warmup period and the Razzia FC Pirates scored 4 goals in about the first 10 minutes. It was 5-1 at the half, so Nebo had begun to hold our own, but the game play became more physical and the game ended at 7-2.
